Revenue Accounting Manager
What You'll Do The Manager of Revenue Accounting is a necessary member of the global revenue accounting team and manages daily operations of the revenue accounting team in India. Reporting to the Director Finance Shared Services India and Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting in the US, the Manager of Revenue Accounting manages and improves the monthly global close process and providing daily and longer-term strategic leadership to a team of accounting professionals. You will collaborate with global revenue accounting teams, helping develop growth in the global accounting team and standardize and improve close processes and analysis. Working during EMEA hours (2 to 11 pm IST) is minimum with additional overlap on certain days to work with Revenue teams in US. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Important contributor to the worldwide revenue close process, including internal reporting Develop, enhance, and automate accounting policies. you will processes for new product releases and products acquired through M&A activity You Aide with global rollout of new quote to cash system you will Partner with the deal desk in India and evaluate significant and non-standard contracts for compliance with ASC 606, including subscription revenue, service agreements, and multi-year contracts You will be partner with all areas involved in the revenue process, including order management, integrations, billings, collections, and information technology Prepare year-end audit schedules, interact and provide details for testing to both internal and external auditors, and resolve any issues identified relating to both the US Financial Statement and UK Statutory audits Review high quality workpapers, and document processes and templates to improve the effectiveness You will monitor effectiveness of internal controls related to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley You will mentor the revenue accounting team What You'll Need to be Successful Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in Accounting. CA or CPA credential and public company experience. Minimum 6 to 11 max years work experience in the technology sector, with prior management responsibility I have experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and SaaS revenue recognition, including managing subscription-based contracts, implementing ASC 606 compliance, and automating billing processes. I am also proficient in Salesforce CPQ, handling quotes, pricing models, and contract management for seamless sales and revenue operations. Your expertise in technical GAAP and SEC reporting, with a focus on ASC 606 revenue recognition. Additionally, I understand internal control design and operational effectiveness principles. You have written and oral communication skills in English; of management globally And process management complemented you should excel at managing multiple tasks in across countries. I quickly grasp complex processes, take on new projects, and balance ongoing responsibilities effectively. Great skill to analyze information, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations.
