Description We are in search of a Revenue Accounting Specialist to join a highly respected and reputable organization, located in Henderson, Nevada. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to conduct audits, maintain records, and ensure the accuracy of revenue data across multiple properties. The ideal Revenue Accounting Specialist will have strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and more), high attention to detail given he detailed reconciliations, and at least 2-3 years of accounting experience. Prior Gaming industry experience, specifically with W2Gs and NGC tax forms are highly preferred. Responsibilities for the Revenue Accounting Specialist: • Conduct daily audit procedures in accordance with the Gaming Control Board (GCB) Minimum Internal Controls. • Review reports, logs, and other supporting documents from each audit area, ensuring accurate and complete data. • Utilize spreadsheet software to prepare spreadsheets, verifying balances against computerized systems. • Produce and upload journal entries as part of the audit process. • Conduct follow-ups on instances of noncompliance and track the results of such investigations. • Maintain accurate records of all audit procedures performed and exceptions noted. • Handle daily reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy of revenue data. • Perform data entry tasks as required, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. • Daily support to the properties departments related to regulatory compliance inquiries, issues & tax.
