Job Summary

Summary<br>Responsible for the support of revenue cycle management by analyzing and optimizing financial data related to revenue generation, billing, and collections.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Analyze and interpret financial data related to revenue generation, billing, and collections. <br>
-Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as net revenue, accounts receivable days, denials, and collection rates. <br>
-Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in revenue data and provide insights and recommendations for improvement. <br>
-Collaborate with revenue cycle management teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue enhancement. <br>
-Evaluate revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, and collections, to identify inefficiencies and develop strategies for improvement. <br>
-Monitor and analyze the impact of process changes on revenue performance. <br>


 

Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree Finance required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience in revenue analysis, financial analysis, or revenue cycle management within the healthcare industry. 1-2 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence platforms. - Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement. - Understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, payer contracts, and regulatory requirements. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in working with financial data.
