Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Revenue and Billing Specialist that handles intercompany transfers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transfer of third-party funds between our business units. This position requires a keen understanding of financial data, the ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and 835 files, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, prioritize tasks effectively, and provide detailed reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Transfer of Funds: Oversee the timely and accurate transfer of third-party payments to intercompany businesses, including client and subsidiaries, ensuring all transactions are correctly processed and recorded.

Data Interpretation: Review and analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and 835 files to ensure accurate fund allocation and reconciliation.

Prioritization & Time Management: Efficiently manage a high volume of tasks, ensuring that all funds are transferred according to deadlines and without errors.

Reporting: Regularly update and maintain detailed and accurate financial reports, tracking funds transferred and any discrepancies, and sharing insights with key stakeholders.

Communication: Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify any discrepancies, provide updates, and answer inquiries related to fund transfers.

Compliance: Ensure that all transfers and reporting adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to streamline fund transfers and reporting, minimizing errors and improving efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 2+ years prior medical/healthcare billing experience required

Previous insurance/claims/EOB/cash posting/remittance and client collections work experience

Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of LCBS system preferred

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Candidate should be able to ascertain needs and deliver oral and written communication at an appropriate level of detail.

Strong problem-solving skills. Candidate should be able to assess the needs and create deliverables that address the situation.

Ability to manage time and tasks independently; Excellent multitasking abilities required

Outstanding organizational skills; ability to function in a complex environment

Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (EST)

Pay Range: $15.35 Hour - $17.00 Hour (State minimum wages apply if higher)
