Responsibilities:
Exposure to Order To Cash Process (Billing, Collections and Cash Application) is mandatoryMaintain up-to-date billing systemGenerate and send invoices to customersFollow up on timely collection with customers and escalate to internal/external stakeholders in case of delays in paymentApply payments to open invoicesPerform customer account reconciliationsMonitor/Review customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularitiesResearch and resolve payment discrepanciesPreparing and reviewing AR agingInvestigate and resolve customer queriesLiaise with GL/Accounting team to ensure accurate AR balances are reflected in GL control accountsRequirements:
Experience in collections, AR and/or billingMust have basic accounting skills to be able to research accounts and aging reportsExperience working on aged accounts in a B2B environmentExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and OutlookKnowledge of collection techniques, policies, procedures and principles of credit and collectionsMust have creativity, ingenuity, and flexibility to adapt to each customer situation in an unscripted callAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines and resolve complex problems with minimal guidanceDemonstrate career progression and skill growthBachelor’s degree preferred in an accounting and/or finance-related fieldPeoplesoft experience will be handyAdditional Details:
