\nPosition Statement:
\nThe Revenue Accounting Specialist is responsible for providing Revenue Accounting service to hotels across the Middle East and Africa that are supported by the UAE Finance Centre of Excellence (COE).
\nThe role reports to the Revenue Accounting Supervisor.
\nPosition Summary:
\n· Confirming all positions of revenue and preparing the Daily Income Audit Reports
\n· Reviewing and approving a reports in the Daily Income Audit Report bundle. Following up with hotel teams to ensure all Revenue Accounting control reports are uploaded to Docuware and approvals are obtained
\n· Raising revenue and re-allocating revenue based on the request of an authorised finance lead
\n· Reconciling revenue related taxes and ensuring the timely reporting of these to property so the taxes can be communicated to government bodies
\n· Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Revenue Accounting related balance sheet accounts
\n· Reconcile daily credit card movements and post credit card receipts
\n· Resolve variances in credit card reconciliations with COE and hotel teams
\n· Driving process improvement & system automation—identifying smarter, more efficient work methods by discovering automation opportunities, optimizing workflows, and challenging conventional practices
\n· Other tasks as required by business operations

Qualifications

\n· Systems knowledge, in particular Navision, OnQ/OA and Excel
\n· Fluent in English (written & verbal) – additional languages (French/Arabic) a plus

Required Qualifications
\n· Minimum Education: High school graduate
\n· Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years as a General Accountant or Income Auditor

Preferred Qualifications
\n· Education: University graduate and/or accounting qualification
\nMinimum Years of Experience: 2 years each as a General Accountant and Revenue Accounting
