Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Audit Clerk, located in Henderson, Nevada. As an Audit Clerk, you will be working on a variety of tasks, including data entry, verification of reports, and daily reconciliations. This role will involve auditing various aspects of the business and ensuring compliance with Gaming Law. The ideal Audit Clerk will have prior Audit experience, great Microsoft Excel Skills, and capable of working in a very fast paced environment with tight deadlines. Responsibilities: • Perform accurate data entry tasks as part of the auditing process. • Verify and reconcile reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Conduct audits across various areas, specifically Slots. • Ensure compliance with GCB Minimum Internal Controls and internal control requirements. • Review and log supporting documentation from each audit area. • Prepare and maintain documentation evidencing the performance of audit procedures, exceptions noted, and corresponding follow-up and results of investigations. • Create and verify balances to computerized systems. • Document and communicate instances of noncompliance to appropriate management and perform necessary follow-up. • Handle other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in an audit-related role within the gaming industry • Proficiency in auditing practices and principles • Strong data entry skills, with emphasis on accuracy and speed • Familiarity with casino gaming operations and related terminology • Comprehensive understanding of gaming law and regulations • Proficient with spreadsheet software for the purpose of data analysis and report generation • Experience in daily reconciliation tasks, with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
