Revenue Cycle Liaison

Your job is more than a job

The Revenue Cycle Liaison maintains advanced knowledge of revenue cycle processes to aid in the implementation of processes and standards that assist LCMC in cash collection, in compliance with billing guidelines. Assists with coding, billing and collection processes as well as government and payer regulations for both professional and facility billing. Responsible for the analysis and assessment of diverse data relating to the revenue cycle. Works with LCMC and service lines departments to provide critical information of areas needing attention to improve revenue results. Acts as an internal consultant, provides essential quality reports, advice and improvement recommendations to the management along all service lines.

Your Everyday

Manages billing/charge work queues assigned to the organization. Reviews daily dashboards, works with leaders to resolve edits and move accounts.

Serves as point of contact for all revenue cycle reporting needs for the hospital and clinics. Manages prioritization of reporting requests to maximize the management’s information needs.

Manages government and third-party payer audits.

Reviews denial root causes and works with appropriate leaders to prevent future denials.

Provides informational feedback regarding financial performance to the service lines and other departments.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field or enrollment in a Bachelor’s program within the first year of hire and completion within 3 years.
