Revenue Cycle Management Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Manager

Responsibilities The Manager of Revenue Cycle Management Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement is responsible for supporting and managing the review and development of the processes that contribute to revenue cycle management (RCM). This position requires: * A thorough understanding of the metrics utilized to measure RCM progress. * The ability to prescribe and thoroughly understand best practice RCM business processes (BP). * A thorough understanding of the systems used to support RCM business processes. * The ability to educate, train and motivate division staff involved in RCM business processes. 1. Collaborates with RCM Business Process QA staff as well as interdisciplinary partners to participate in development of RCM business processes that promote continuous improvement and quality results throughout the revenue cycle. 2. Understands, supports development of and helps implement policies and procedures in accordance with overall corporate guidelines including federal and state regulations relating to billing, accounts receivable, collections, and other aspects of RCM. 3. Supports the development of reports, tools and metrics for the purpose of measuring quality and/or performance problems and the systemic processes used to address / resolve them. 4. Assists in development of business office audits, QA PI tools, etc. for process improvement opportunities and make recommendations for revisions to policies and/or procedures in support of improvement in efficiency and compliance. 5. Coordinates with RCM BP Quality Assurance Managers on both internal and external audits. 6. Assists in identifying RCM BP training needs among RCM staff and coordinates with BP trainers to ensure training material is consistent with established RCM business process. 7. Monitors and studies RCM business process to ensure processes are functioning as intended and recommend modifications when they are not. 8. Functions as a liaison between RCM BP QA Directors, RCM leadership as well as corporate IDT partners as needed to address RCM BP. 9. Mentors and supports development of RCM BP QA Managers. 10. Shows respect and appreciation to others. 11. Attends mandatory in-services and meetings as required. 16. Travel throughout multiple states. 17. Complies with all policies and procedures, Infection Control, Standard Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional. 18. Adheres to established HIPAA confidentiality standards of patient/resident and client location information. 19. Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1. A high school degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in nursing home bookkeeping. 2. Bachelor's degree is preferred. 3. Additional coursework in accounting/finance is recommended. 4. Previous experience with oversight of multiple long term care or skilled nursing centers. Posted Salary Range USD $75,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
