OPPORTUNITY
We have an opportunity for a Revenue Cycle Specialist to coordinate and assist in managing the provision of Christian Horizons billing services. The Revenue Cycle Specialist is an important and integral part of the Christian Horizons team which provides exceptional care to our residents.

Develops and maintains working relationships with Billing Office personnel at communities serviced by Christian Horizons.Maintains communication with all departments within Christian Horizons to insure proper billing procedures.Performs cash transactions for all payers.Understands and be proficient in the use of all computer software related to billing: Frameworks, Docutrack, AccPac, PCC.In conjunction with Revenue Cycle Director; maintain, review and update community pricing tables.Participates in fiscal month end closing process.Assures that all financial reporting required by Christian Horizons is delivered accurately, balanced and timely.Compliance with all local, State, and federal regulations regarding the billing for long term care. Maintains a knowledge base of Medicaid, Medicare and all third party insurance plans used by Christian Horizons customers.Performs procedures for all prior authorization processing.Carries out proper accounts receivable processes.Reviews all adjustments/resident refunds.Organizes and maintains all records necessary.Respond to all customer requests for records promptly. Qualifications Two+ years of Business Office Manager/Revenue Cycle Experience in a Long Term Care facility or 5 years of Medical Billing/Revenue Cycle in hospital.Long Term Care Billing Experience (Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care) and Revenue Cycle(Billing) experience. Ability to follow written and oral directions.Ability to work independently.Possess the ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.Pass background check before and during employment, as defined by Christian Horizons’ background check policy.
