Title: Revenue Cycle Supervisor, Remittance and Credits (Remote) Location: Midtown Org Unit: Payment Posting Work Days: Weekly Hours: 35.00 Exemption Status: Exempt Salary Range: $70,800.00 - $80,300.00 *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices **Position Summary** Under guidance, oversees the daily operations of the professional billing activities within the comprehensive cashiering services of the payment posting unit. **Job Responsibilities** + Analyzes transaction activity to assess overall performance and staff productivity. Designs and implements strategies to improve overall performance. + Ensures all Lockboxes, Electronic Data Interfaces (EDI) and other posted receipts are reconciled against validated system output sources. + Ensures adherence to cash and audit control procedures. + Identifies and resolves issues related to the practice management system and remit files. + Ensures all credits and suspense account entries are posted correctly and all back up documentation is forwarded in a timely manner. + May develop, maintain and/or disseminate departmental or functional specific policies and procedures. May also be responsible for maintaining a departmental standard operating procedures (SOP) manual if available. + Attends workshops, seminars and/or conferences to keep abreast of standards and best practices within the field.
