A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

Sales Performance Evaluation Reports - Create reports to assess sales performance and assist the Senior Category Manager in recommending improvements for category performance and profitability. Promotion and Trade Guidelines - Develop and present guidelines for promotions and trade strategies. Pricing Opportunities - Support the Senior Category Manager in identifying pricing opportunities within the market. PPA Project Recommendations - Provide analysis to recommend projects related to Price, Promotion, and Assortment (PPA). Decision-Making Analysis - Lead analysis to inform decision-making processes, particularly regarding mix and promotional optimization. Category Optimization and Tools Development - Collaborate with the Senior Category Manager to optimize category plans through price and promotion analysis; adapt tools aligned with European processes to meet Italian local requirements; Contribute to spreading knowledge of profit and loss (P&L) and relevant tools across the organization.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

Degree in Economics/Management/Marketing/Finance or similar. Strong analytical skills and P&L understanding. The ability to collaborate easily with the different functions (Sales, Category, Marketing, Finance, CBU) to achieve the objectives and to communicate & present clearly in both local languages (Italian) and English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint), Internal and External Database sources (Nielsen, IRI/Circana).
