Position Summary: The Revenue Management Analyst supports key organizational projects and initiatives that are essential to achieving short- and long-term business objectives. This position will gain the knowledge to mine, consolidate, and summarize multiple complex data sets into operational insights. Additionally, this role will play an integral role building predictive models to optimize profit & share of market, evaluate marketplace pricing via the creation of tracking & score carding tools, and assist with gathering best in class retail pricing insights for product innovation. Support the Category Management review process through effective communication of retail price & margin related opportunities, implications to demand, and overall enterprise risk.
Principal DutiesAssist Marketing Center of Excellence in development of key reports and processes, utilizing tools such as Microstrategy, Tableau and Excel.Quantify the value of annual category/brand pricing recommendations across categories/key store clusters/regions inclusive of confidence level and relative risk.Evaluate effectiveness of portfolio price architecture and develop recommendations for refinement or to capture new opportunities.Assist with identifying industry trends. Perform competitive analysis and financial “what if” scenario planning. Coordinate competitive price surveys. Procure and analyze samples as needed. Support the Marketing Center of Excellence & Category Planning and Development team on strategic projects and initiatives, including but not limited to:Finance and Marketing joint business discovery on key areas of opportunity.Enterprise Productivity and Marketing process improvement.The evaluation of contracts and funding agreements with vendor community.Assists in understanding the “halo” effect of retail pricing to customer count, baskets, retention, etcManaging 3rd party data providers and consultantsEssential Functions:

Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics, Statistics or Quantitative concentration preferred2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in retail or consumer packaged goods industryAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsMicroStrategy and IRI/Unify experience preferredSAP and Tableau experience preferredSyndicated data experience (IRI and/or Nielsen) preferredAbility to synthesize large amounts of data preferredConceptual ability to develop robust models for forecasting and pricing preferredAbility to use statistical techniques such as regression analysis preferredWawa will provide reasonable accommodation to complete an application upon request, consistent with applicable law.
