Revenue Management AnalystSummary of the role: Amadeus Hospitality Americas, Inc., a rapidly growing OnDemand (SaaS) and perpetual license software developer with worldwide operations headquartered in Schaumburg, IL, is seeking an accounting professional to assume the role of Billing Analyst. The Billing Analyst will be responsible for various day-to-day billing activities ensuring that all customer invoicing is timely and accurate. The Billing Analyst will report to the Billing Manager in the Finance department.
In this role you’ll:
Provide frontline assistance to Amadeus’s customers by helping to manage daily issues; efforts to include independently researching issues and resolving and responding to emails and cases in a timely manner.
Deliver a professional service to internal customers via the execution of standard operating processes.
Process credit and debit memos in a timely manner.
Oversee billing functions to ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and any adjustments. Perform month-end closing activities and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Promote continuous process improvement by assessing current processes, recommending, and implementing new processes within the area of responsibility.
Tasks:
Troubleshoot data discrepancies between systems.
Trace data transfer between different systems and databases to determine where the issue lies and how to resolve the discrepancy.
Provide access to different programs/systems.
Troubleshoot devices, especially browser compatibility issues.
Troubleshoot specific system errors.
About the ideal candidate:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Work Experience: 3+ years’ experience with processing sales orders and invoices; experience in Oracle, Salesforce, or related apps; experience in Zuora is a plus.
Business Understanding: Ability to work with minimal supervision and thrive in a complex, deadline-driven environment.
Skills:
Effective communication, customer service, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Motivation to provide high-quality work with minimal errors.
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to work autonomously and follow directions when needed.
Languages: Proficiency in English.
Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of Salesforce, Oracle, and Zuora is a plus.
