What does the ROLE entail?
· Being responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt’s Corporate Strategies and Brand Standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations;
· Focusing on revenue, profit and demands associated with the Hotels’ rooms and function space inventory, as well as forecasting and analyzing the progress of budget and projections;
· Drafting and executing a Revenue strategy for both Hotels, meeting and matching the main objectives to be achieved;
Working closely with Sales and Operations in order to achieve maximum results;Monitoring in statistical format, the group pick-up patterns, group lead times and group business trends of the hotel in order to identify critical areas for Revenue Enhancement;Working together with the Sales team to promote internal sales and the up selling of all facilities;Assisting in monthly and weekly reforecasting;Assisting in managing costs basedon KPIs;Monitoring Events calendar on the long term and develop a selling strategy;Ensuring all daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports are up to date and completed in accordance with standardized company procedures;Developing and updating the Function space-selling calendar for the next 12 months;Closely working on selling strategies and capacity management with the Sales department;Ensuring regular follow up on group price quotations;Forecasting monthly rooms and FB revenues on group demand and produce the annual group demand business plan;Maintaining strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitorhotels and other organizations.Hyatt is a global hospitality brand with one driving purpose: to care for people so they can be their best. Your EXPERIENCE:
· Graduated from a Hospitality or Revenue related Degree;
· Revenue experience, ideally within Hospitality, having worked in a Management position for at least 2 years, and ready to transition into a Cluster role handling two different properties;
· A strategic thinker with great analytical and problem solving skills, who doesn’t shy away from administrative tasks and projects;
· Communicative and fluent in English (and, preferably, also in Dutch);
· Familiar with the market segment, competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand AND/OR prior Hyatt experience which taught you the ins and outs of our systems;
· Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications).
