Assist the Executive Committee team in developing long-term strategies and short-term tactics to increase the hotel’s overall revenues and to maximise profit.
Optimize existing and assist in creating additional demand, with the objective of achieving a Revenue Market Share Index
Attend regular departmental communications meetings and ensures departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
Assist in preparing for the weekly and monthly rooms occupancy and average rate forecast through the use of Business Intelligence and Revenue Management applications (IDeaS software where available) control management, pricing
Provide tactical consultation on effective revenue generating processes through Spirit / Reserve inventory usage, rate control management, pricing and distribution.
Assist in ensuring distribution of inventory through all channels, in line with Hyatt’s Distribution strategy and closely monitor business shifts between channels (Channel Management).
Assist in ensuring optimal inventory controls are in place for FIT / Group and for the hotel as a whole.
Actively participate in the Weekly Yield / Revenue, presenting the upcoming revenue management tactics in place and new recommendations of tactical nature.
Monitor pricing strategies in the context of competitor strategies and market fluctuations.
Assist in ensuring and understanding of the Daily Pricing Tactics in place (DPS), to increase the hotel’s overall profitability and to review and assist in implementing new pricing tactics where necessary (DPS deployment).
Monitor and provide feedback on the hotel’s effective use of Hyatt systems, tools and procedures in areas of business intelligence, revenue management, inventory management and dynamic pricing to maximise Hyatt’s competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Liaise with Director of Communication/Communications Manager to track past offers and promotions.
Ensure that the Marketing Analyst has a complete understanding of and adheres to employee rules and regulations and policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security

3 years of experience in the same position

Luxury background in resort and urban city
