Revenues & Legal Assistant

About us:

Gold Care Homes is a well-established independent care home group for the elderly, with approximately 2,500 employees across 34 care homes. Our Head Office, located in Uxbridge, is where this role will primarily be based. We are currently seeking a Revenues & Legal Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to both the revenue management and legal departments, assisting with revenue collection and financial reporting, and supporting legal documentation, compliance, and various administrative tasks.

Role Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices and revenue reports.Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budget reports.Maintain and update revenue tracking systems and databases.Assist with the preparation, review, and management of legal documents and contracts.Maintain accurate records of legal files and correspondence.Conduct legal research and compile data as needed.Support compliance and regulatory requirements by maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring adherence to legal standards.Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for the revenue and legal departments.Handle correspondence, phone calls, and email inquiries.Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.Maintain office supplies and manage department logistics.Liaise with internal departments and external partners regarding financial and legal matters.Provide support during audits and internal reviews.Coordinate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless officeEnsure compliance with company policies and relevant legal requirements.Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management.Support internal audits and assist with the implementation of audit recommendations.Support with contract management, including with NHS, completing tenders and contracts on behalf of homes / legal entities/groupPerform other related duties and special projects as assigned by the Revenue Manager and Legal Counsel.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in business administration, Finance, Law, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or assistant role.Experience in finance, accounting, or legal support is highly desirable.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Familiarity with financial software and legal research tools is a plus.
