We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced multinational reverse flow underwriter, to join our Multinational team within Aviva’s Global Corporate Specialty (GCS) department. This is a great job for someone with excellent relationship building skills and mentoring abilities.

A bit about the job:

You will be responsible for underwriting profitable Reverse Flow business for Aviva’s Global Corporate Specialty (GCS) department, working closely with our agreed Partner Network and operating within agreed guidelines and authority levels.  We want you to work through new business and renewals, alongside making day-to-day underwriting decisions regarding the acceptance and rating of risks within detailed guidelines and agreed authority limits. You will also be responsible for supporting and mentoring junior colleagues, within the team, in their own development to ensure they achieve their own goals.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Experience in dealing with Reverse Flow Business and the ability to build relationships with our Global Network Partner

Develop underwriting knowledge within the lines of business requirements for the needs of Partner reverse flow demands, this will expand from Property and Casualty through to Marine and A&H

Extensive experience of coaching, training, and mentoring others in technical subjects

Experience of conducting internal and external underwriting audits, showcasing excellent attention to detail

Ability to analyse complex information and draw out the relevant facts and then present them to others in a variety of formats
