The Reverse Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and processing all returns/reverse material flows from customers and field service engineers to our distribution center. Once received at the DC the Coordinator will determine final disposition based on existing standard work (scrap, return to vendor, return to source DC, return for refurbishment or service certification)

This full-time position reports to the Senior Logistics manager EMEA and is part of the EMEA Logistics team located in Nieuwerkerk a/d Ijssel office (Netherlands)  and will be an on-site with options to work from home as well.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

To interact with many departments and external suppliers and 3PL’sWork in a small and diverse teamOversee and manage all inbound flows coming from (internal) customer up until receipt at our warehouseResolve any inbound related issue logged by our warehouseDetermine final disposition based on decision matrix (return to vendor, scrap, return to other DC or repair centers)Bring about process improvements and efficiency gains for existing (manual) processes.Create global returns processes and determine handovers and responsibilities with our global buyer and planner teams across the globe.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor degree or higher in the area of Logistics or Supply Chain management or related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 2 years experience of  Supply Chain exposureThorough understanding of Distribution Centers (DC) flows (inbound and outbound) and DC operationsGood understanding of working with a supplier base with regards to returns and warranty cases

Strong excel  / analytical skills and experience with ERP systems
