REVERSE LOGISTICS MANAGER
REVERSE LOGISTICS MANAGER (ID: 25000113) AutoZone's Supply Chain Reverse Logistics Manager will spearhead operational projects to improve efficiency, drive Returns Management System redesign, and manage inventory recall requests to include recall for redistribution, excess inventory recalls, and safety and legal issues, to ensure the requests, accomplish the intended objectives for all distribution centers. This individual will work with and support the Distribution Centers as well as Supply Chain Support to influence business decisions by developing the appropriate quantitative approaches, including analyses, and present findings and recommendations to multiple internal groups within AutoZone, to include senior leadership. Must communicate effectively across Supply Chain to notify of any risks and/or provide solutions. Key Responsibilities + Develop and execute forward-thinking strategic tactics, processes, and future system designs/flows. Identify and implement strategies to improve workflow, reduce costs, and enhance overall warehouse efficiency. + Oversee the entire project life cycle, from scope definition to on-time, on-budget delivery. Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts across departments and external partners + Maintain advanced knowledge of DC systems, processes, and organization metrics. Develop, implement, and support DC labor standards and management systems. + Ability to work cross functionally across the Store Support Center (SSC) departments in Merchandising, Finance, IT, and Field DC Network + Work with Merchandising partners to drive effective Recall project plans, ensuring RGAs and disposition is received. Find creative solutions which manage optimal product placement and DC labor investment. Coordinate merchandising test activities + Manages time sensitive strategic projects related to reverse logistics for Supply Chain. + Provides ad hoc data analysis and communicates key insights to leadership and business stakeholders + Prepares and presents actionable insights to leadership and business teams, addresses key questions, and drives efficiency and service strategies within the Supply Chain + Defines, measures, and reports on key business performance metrics for current and new initiatives + Reviews automated weekly, period, and quarterly reporting to evaluate KPI metrics across different channels + Oversees that all returns and recalls are processed in a consistent and timely manner through the Supply Chain network + Supports and resolves escalated recalls and returns to ensure chargeback $ goals are achieved consistently and reports discrepancies as necessary + Demonstrates effective communication – actively listening to the needs of others, internally and externally – to understand and provide accurate information or solutions, as well as organizational skills – prioritizing appropriately and responding to issues quickly and creatively Education and/or Experience REQUIRED: + Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Business Administration, etc.) + 3+ years of experience as an Operations Manager, Shift Supervisor, Support Manager, or similar leadership role in a distribution or reverse logistics environment. + High level of organizational skills and attention to detail + Strong technical skills particularly with Warehouse Management Systems, Returns Management Systems, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and financial analysis + Willingness to relocate to Memphis, TN, and ability to travel up to 25% + Project Management experience PREFERRED: + SQL & Python proficiency + Experience implementing Returns Management System + Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations + Agile Methodology experience + Project Management experience
