Summary: Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in RF design for avionics electronics projects.
Requirements:
BSEE degree
Minimum 5 years of experience with RF hardware design
U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Resident
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Skills:
Experience with modeling RF simulation tools
Expertise in wireless communications and antenna design (excluding candidates from telecommunications companies like Verizon)
Proficiency in RF testing and measurement techniques
Knowledge of PCB layout, PCBA manufacturing, component selection, and environmental qualifications
Responsibilities:
Design radio system transmitters, receivers, and exciters
Design, analyze, and simulate RF electronics circuits for avionics electronics
Understand and apply EMI/EMC principles
Develop requirements and test plans for electronics design
Perform trade studies for technical solutions, including make/buy recommendations
Create documentation supporting analysis, component deratings, and design reviews
Resolve problems encountered in testing and verification processes
Design for radiation tolerant environments
Pay Details: $63.00 to $84.00 per hour
