Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated RF Engineer to contribute to the development of RF hardware systems throughout the entire lifecycle, from system requirements definition to delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements and specifications are met, and under the guidance of senior staff, you will design and implement hardware designs and support assembly, integration, and testing.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop RF hardware systems from system requirements definition through to delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications.Design and implement hardware designs with guidance from senior staff.Identify and select RF system components such as active and passive devices, antennas, connectors, cables, and physical enclosures.Conduct supporting analyses to inform and justify decisions, such as RF link budgets.Support assembly, initial operation, and checkout of systems, including definition of test setups.Essential SkillsKnowledge of technical concepts related to RF systems and their principles of design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.Experience in the delivery of advanced development hardware.Proficiency in RF systems test experience including using tools such as Cadence AWR, Python, RFDesigner, spectrum analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters.Ability to work effectively in a team environment, often under tight deadlines.Experience in providing information for briefings and technical reviews such as SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TIMS.Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of applicable experience or equivalent experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster’s degree is preferred.Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is a plus.Demonstrated experience in radar systems, electronic warfare, microwave engineering, analog and digital signal processing, embedded software development, or physics modeling and simulation.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
