**Summary:**
At Meta Reality Labs, we’re developing the future of augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality(MR). As an RF Engineer focused on wireless consumer devices, you will have the opportunity to work on the intricate and complex challenges impacting product design to deliver the state of the art wireless solution.
**Required Skills:**
RF Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop RF connectivity solutions for consumer electronic products
2. Responsible for part selection, prototyping, factory bring up and lab bench debug and root cause.
3. Review product designs at schematic, board layout, mechanical structure and other design levels.
4. Perform RF link budget analysis and debug RF issues in the lab.
5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure RF performance are met at component, board and system level.
6. Monitor and ensure RF performance metrics are met— EVM, transmit power, and receiver sensitivity—are met or exceeded for connectivity technologies.
7. Support EM simulation efforts using tools like HFSS, ADS, and CST Studio to identify and resolve RF performance issues and optimize RF design.
8. Domestic/international travel as needed.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

9. BSEE/BSc with 3+ years, or MS with 2+ years wireless consumer electronics industry experience, semiconductor or PhD in related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
10. Knowledgeable in analog, digital and mixed-signal circuit analysis.
11. Knowledgeable in RF design with technical understanding of radio technologies:WiFi/BT, GPS, etc.
12. Familiarity with RF schematic and PCB layout best practices and guidelines.
13. Knowledge of electromagnetic simulations and familiarity with common EM tools.
14. Hands on knowledge of general purpose RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzer etc.

15. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in RF circuits or RF systems design or Electromagnetics.
16. 3+ years of experience in designing connectivity RF hardware solutions for consumer electronics
17. Experience in WiFi/BT RF design, optimization and validation.
18. Familiarity with one or more connectivity technologies - WiFi, BT, GNSS, UWB
19. Proficient in one or more electromagnetic simulation tools such as Ansys and CST etc.
20. Experience working on cellular RF hardware is a plus.
21. Familiarity with connectivity technology regulatory requirements
**Public Compensation:**
$111,000/year to $164,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
