Description

Supports engineering development of RF modules by testing, troubleshooting and tuning the modules. This position requires close engagement with design and validation engineers to receive guidance and report feedback and results.

 

Responsibilities

• Assembling PCB including solder down surface mount components.

• Operating automated test equipment.

• Running automated calibration routines.

• Perform basic manual RF tests.

• Perform RF test setups.

• Building Test fixtures and Test Jigs.

• Building harnesses for test fixtures.

• Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for RF modules under supervision of design engineers.

 

Required Experience and Skills

• Associate degree or equivalent years of experience, with four years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge and hands on experience with bench test equipment: multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, power supplies, spectrum analyzers etc.

• Ability to understand schematics and diagrams.

• Experience with MS-Office, Windows OS

• Ability to interpret data with a basic understanding of voltage, current, power.

• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Must have a team-oriented mindset, accountability, and ownership.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $29.33 - $50.96 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
