What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities) Leverage commercial Radio Frequency (RF) circuit and physical modeling tools including MATLAB, AWR, and HFSS, as well as custom software packages to support design and analysis of RF filters, as well as improve design workflow and automation. Contribute to technical strategy discussions, pushing the boundaries of innovation within the RF filter design space. Document workflows and develop training materials for advanced tool usage, promoting process improvements and knowledge sharing across the team. Assist RF measurement analysis by generating test plans and analyzing results. Produce RF engineering reports for team projects, studies and analyses. What Is Required (Qualifications) Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or equivalent. Experience/knowledge of basic circuits/electronics. An interest in RF component engineering and/or acoustic device engineering. Strong communication and technical writing skills for documentation. Ability to work well in a small, collaborative group environment. Willingness to jump in and take on new tasks to support the team. Ability to commit to a schedule for a period of at least 3 months in the Goleta office. How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Academic or industry background in RF electronics and/or semiconductor device engineering/physics. Experience with circuit simulators, EM modeling software, CAD layout tools (AWR, ADS, HFSS, etc.). Familiarity with RF/Microwave measurements and test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer). Familiarity with programming (C++, MATLAB, Python, VBA). Travel Domestic travel between California offices may be required.
Minimum Salary: $28.00/hr
Maximum Salary: $40.00/hr
