Lockheed Martin is seeking a RF Model & Simulation Engineer to develop and implement HWIL Radar Processing Algorithms for multiple Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) systems in our sunny Orlando, FL facility!!
What You Will Be Doing
The RF M&S Engineer will define modulation algorithms used to process digitized RF signals and combine real-world effects models with a radar return pulse in an RFSoC Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA).
This position will define the processing architecture and develop Digital RF Memory (DRFM) algorithms, and will be the technical lead of FPGA FW and SW model development engineers.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or closely related STEM degree and at least 9 years of relevant professional engineering experience in the following:
- Knowledge of RADAR Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- RF Modeling and Simulation Design experience using MATLAB
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) systems
- Experience in radar design and theory of operation
- Knowledge of RF propagation modeling techniques to accomplish RF target & scene modeling, RADAR systems modeling, Seeker communications and environmental clutter modeling (minimum of 5 years of experience)
**Active Secret Security Clearance with a current 5-year investigation, therefore you must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Design experience with RFSoCs, Virtex Ultra-Scales, DSPs et al.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with RF target and signal generation architectures utilizing FPGAs
• Develop and analyze radar signal processing architectures to meet mission requirements
• Real-Time HWIL Simulation Experience
• A demonstrated ability to troubleshoot RF/microwave designs and resolve integration issues
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
