Complete Description:
The RF Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the coordination, development, and presentation of the District of Columbia positions to the National public safety communications associations’ administrative, policy, and technical forums. The RF program manager provides analysis and conclusions on FCC allocation and other rulemakings where they are related to public safety spectrum matters and therefore is required to have senior level experience with the subject area, managing public safety and commercial wireless systems programs including deployment and operations of systems. The program manager is the primary and senior level OUC representative performing research and technical analysis of frequency authorization requests, available spectrum assets and applicable regulations to determine availability and acquire spectrum resources. Conducts regulatory compliance assessments of radio frequency operations and issues frequency authorization memos.
