RF Support Engineer Hiring Now

As a Product Support Solutions Specialist, you will interact with customers to understand their objectives for ORAN and assist in developing deployment solutions. You will manage ecosystems, test strategies, and other customer needs, conduct program reviews, and build ORAN solutions from macro public networks to small private networks. A deep understanding of ORAN specifications is highly desired.

Location: El Segundo, CA

Pay Rate: $95,000 - $120,000

Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM | Travel required (25%)

Job Responsibilities:

Interact with customers to understand objectives for ORAN and assist in developing solutions for deployment scenarios.Work with customers to manage ecosystems, test strategies, and other needs.Participate in program reviews and build ORAN solutions from macro public networks to small private networks.Work closely with product development for solution feasibility.Review ORAN standards with customers.Understand customer needs and provide assistance to find solutions.Develop ideas for solutions to present to software and program teams.Review product specifications and understand MTI products that may already be available to provide solutions.Participate in customer support meetings to ensure the team is updated on current efforts on new solutions.High travel is required.Provide global support as customers are all over the globe, with support times varying from evenings to early mornings.Work directly with the main product support team when customers have issues with solutions provided.

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of proven experience with wireless communications, RF, analog, and mixed signal circuit troubleshooting and testing.High knowledge of ORAN specifications is highly desired.Industry-level sales experience preferred.Preferable knowledge of 5G NR/LTE and comparable 4G/5G standards.Knowledge of Visual Basic.Net and/or other equivalent text-based programming languages for test automation (a plus).Familiarity with CPRI/eCPRI interfaces (a plus).Familiarity with software integration and error tracking tools.Familiarity with major test tools and equipment, namely the Agilent PSA, MXA, ENA, ESG, and power meter.Environmental testing experience using temperature chambers.Ability to communicate well.Good writing skills and experience with writing test procedures and test documentation is essential.Fluent in English.BSEE, MSEE, or professional experience.Travel up to 35% of the time.

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
