ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities
Responsible for providing calibration services for test equipment primarily in the field of RF and Electrical metrology.Work with other technicians within the lab to learn calibration fundamentals, which can include measurement, temperature, electronics, etc.Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniquesMaintain calibration standardsPerform calibration work within a laboratory setting and/or while supervised at a customer on-siteFulfill duties safely under working conditions, in keeping with Company requirements and standardsOther duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Genuine interest in RF and Electrical metrology, in order to become an expert.Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and attenuatorsExperience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multi-meters, thermometers is an assetGood repair and troubleshooting skillsWilling to perform extensive calibrations at customer sites QualificationsPhysical Demands
