Performs test, tune, and troubleshooting of mid-range to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies using standard, specialized, manual, and automated test equipment.
Responsibilities: Test, tune, and troubleshoot RF microwave hybrid assemblies Perform environmental testing, including temperature, vibration, and mechanical shock Operate burn-in ovens for unit testing Utilize RF equipment, including RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF Power Meters, and PNA Network Analyzers Work under a microscope to test, tune, and troubleshoot assemblies using hand tools such as torque drivers and tweezers Read and interpret detailed process sheets, assembly drawings, and schematics Operate computer-driven mechanical vibration equipment Solder components per J-STD-001 standards to support tuning processes Analyze RF microwave test data for troubleshooting and validation Develop test procedures and troubleshoot products using schematics Collaborate with RF Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering to refine procedures and resolve issues Maintain compliance with ESD and FOD control requirements Requirements: Previous experience in RF microwave hybrid assembly test, tune, and troubleshooting Familiarity with RF test equipment such as Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Network Analyzers Ability to work under a microscope and use precision hand tools Experience in a controlled ESD and FOD environment High School Diploma required (Bachelor
