Job Description
Test and analyze electro/mechanical devices to meet RF and electrical specifications. Perform VSWR, insertion loss, impedance, and other testing for small electrical components. Maintain quality assurance records and documentation changes. Verify conformance of finished work to meet customer needs according to planning and work order instructions and specifications. Train other technicians as needed.
ResponsibilitiesTest and analyze electro/mechanical devices to meet RF and electrical specifications.Perform VSWR, insertion loss, impedance, and other testing for small electrical components.Maintain quality assurance records and documentation changes.Verify conformance of finished work to meet customer needs according to planning and work order instructions and specifications.Train other technicians as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with electronics, troubleshooting, and calibration.Proficiency in using network analyzers.Associate of Science Degree in Electronics or 5 years equivalent experience.2 years experience in VSWR, insertion, and impedance testing.Experience with micrometers, calipers, and interface gauges.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot electromechanical systems down to the component level.Proficiency with oscilloscopes, RF testing, schematic analysis, and test equipment.Experience with VNA testing, electrical testing, spectrum analyzers, and soldering.Familiarity with electromechanical systems, LabVIEW, HP 8510, network analysis, and documentation control.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with MMC iTune, IQSTAR, and blueprint reading.Knowledge of RF theory is a plus.Ability to effectively communicate with others in various technical disciplines within the company.Work Environment
The team consists of 6 people in assembly, 2 mechanical assemblers, and 1 sustaining engineer. The work is 100% on-site in an assembly environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with 1-2 hours of overtime per day during busy times and occasional 3-4 hours on Saturdays depending on the workload. The team will be informed by Thursday if Saturday work is required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.50/hr.
