Summary of Objective:

The primary function of this position is to assist the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager in maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for outgoing product shipments. This includes shipping product in a timely manner to ensure each item has an accurate count and the proper storage methods are being met. Their duties will include loading outgoing trucks and providing a creative and efficient transportation solutions for internal and external customers.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

Verify shipping documents, including packing lists and customs forms, in compliance with applicable regulations.  Proactively identify and resolve any shipping-related problems or discrepancies to minimize delays and ensure customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities to streamline shipping processes and reduce costs without compromising quality or shipping timelines. Prepares product for shipping, package, label and ensure proper documentation is completed and routed to correct departments. Operates forklift and moves product, equipment, or materials between loading, processing, and storage areas Maintain accurate shipping records, including bills of lading, shipping logs, and other required documentation. Perform shipping duties including loading of trucks, and visually inspecting packages for damage prior each shipment. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving shipping-related issues. Provide day to day guidance in shipping by structuring workloads to maximum productivity and efficiencies. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers. Complete tasks as assigned and resolve day to day problems. Lead assigned personnel on each shift to meet productivity and efficiency targets. Implementing ways to improve or optimize warehouse shipping procedures. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the Employee Handbook or otherwise posted or communicated. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines A self-starter that can work independently and coordinate with others. Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Good computer skills, detail orientated and problem solver. Honest, dependable, quick learner, strong leader, positive attitude. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Wears required PPE and follows all company safety procedures, including safe lifting practices Attendance to work is an essential function of this position. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Organize warehouse space. Perform and support all job requirements as directed by supervisor and/or manager.

Required:

TABE testing requirements met at approved grade level for position.Basic Mathematical SkillsIntermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.   Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.

The hiring rate for this position is $19.96/hour - $22.46/hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
