What you'll do: The Request for Proposal and Complex Bid Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing the preparation of proposals and bids in response to RFPs from clients and prospective partners. This position requires a solid understanding of our products, exceptional writing and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure all proposals meet client expectations and organizational standards. The individual in this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining the response management software, Loopio. Previous experience with Loopio is required. Key Responsibilities: + Lead the entire proposal development process from concept to submission, ensuring compliance with RFP guidelines, deadlines, and specifications. + Spearhead the implementation and development of a response management software tool, Loopio. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, legal, and operations) to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive proposals. + Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and relevance. + Ensure all commonly used documents are up to date and true. + Analyze and interpret RFPs to determine the client's requirements and evaluation criteria. + Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries related to proposals and bids. + Engage with potential clients to clarify requirements and gather additional details that may enhance the proposal. + Develop a proposal timetable, resource allocation, and project plan to meet bid deadlines. + Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of all components of the bid. + Conduct market research to understand competitor offerings and client requirements. + Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices that may impact the proposal strategy. + Implement and maintain a quality control process to review all proposals for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to corporate standards. + Collect and analyze feedback from submitted proposals to improve future submissions. + Develop and maintain a database of proposals and supporting materials to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice development. + Identify opportunities for process improvements in proposal management and bid preparation. + Produce specific detailed reports as necessary. + Other projects as assigned by US Signal leadership. Required Experience: What you bring to the team: + Extensive experience in the response management software, Loopio. + 3 years of experience in proposal writing, bid management, or a related role, preferably in the technology industry + Strong written, editing, and presentation skills with a keen attention to detail. + Proven ability to manage a multi-facetted project to completion. + Familiarity with USAC’s E-Rate and Rural Healthcare programs. + Hardy internal motivation and desire to succeed. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with team members. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. + Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. + Desired candidate will have experience in RFP and complex bids within the technology sector. Most of the time is spent in a professional office environment or remote and this role routinely uses standard office equipment.
