POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the RGM Director, Independent, this role is responsible for four states, each which has niche dynamics/challengesAssists market business performance leads and drives accountability with distributor partners to implement the RGM agendaCollaborates efficiently with central RGM team partners such as strategy group, systems team, etc.Coordinates with COE to help with tactical elements of role, including reporting, and reconciliation, as well as analytical support where appropriate

KEY OUTPUTS:

Performance Management

Deliver RGM value through price and mix that is ahead of the industryLeads the development of annual FOB price, discount plans, and promotion calendarImplement national price direction for both headline price and promotional guidelinesFacilitate monthly financial reviews, including VPM reviews, and dNSV resultsReview and approve gap close programs and communicate impactEnsure team is using system based M&E tool to make data backed decisions in gap close process as well consistent post M&E reviewsEnsure Revenue Management Anaplan price models are accurately updatedWorks with distributor and central Revenue Management team to identify pricing opportunitiesManages development, maintenance and communication of price changes and promotional calendars to internal personnel and distributorsEnsures Distributors DA payments are made on time

Analytics:

Builds insightful and useful monthly analysis of pricing resultsReviews trends and competitive activity throughout the year to identify additional suggested pricing opportunities or risksDrives deal level analytics, Diageo / Distributor suggested margin analysis, conduct project based analytics and scenario planning to make informed suggested pricing recommendationsResolves distributor inquiries on pricing process/data/reporting analytics

Systems:

Price Model Administration - maintain frontline price changes, support calendar, suggested price models and local pricing data (taxes, freight, etc) – multiple systems:  VIP/DO, RM/Anaplan, MSBI, AIP/Qlik


EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years of business experience – history of working in Beverage Alcohol preferredUndergraduate degree (BA/BS) requiredAnalytical commercial sales/finance roles, commercial competence preferredAble to build positive relationships; excellent influencing skillsWorking understanding of P&L levers & value chain modelingStrong mathematical and analytical skills with a strong attention to detailKnowledge of Consumer Data systems (Nielsen, IRI)Excellent written and verbal communication skills across functionsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and PowerBI
