Rheumatologist – Sjögren's Disease Center – UPMC – Pittsburgh, PA – H1B sponsorship

The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is seeking a dedicated, collaborative rheumatologist with superb clinical acumen to join our team as a full-time physician. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to provide specialized, interdisciplinary care to patients with Sjögren’s Disease at the UPMC Sjögren’s Disease Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in participating in Sjögren’s clinical trials to advance both patient care and research. Experience in musculoskeletal and salivary gland ultrasound would be a highly advantageous asset.  

Must have an MD or equivalent Be board certified in Internal Medicine and be BC/BE in Rheumatology with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license. Must have completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology.  H1B sponsorship available

Opportunity Details

Cover general rheumatology clinics and provide inpatient care in the UPMC system at Pittsburgh-based hospitals. 4-day work week Dedicated clinics at the University of Pittsburgh Sjögren’s Disease Center Minimum of 12 inpatient weeks and 12 inpatient weekends per year Provide quality rheumatology instruction and training in the inpatient/outpatient settings to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals Interact with their academic and basic science colleagues in the Division of Rheumatology and the Department of Medicine as part of their employment; this includes but is not limited to attending division and departmental faculty meetings, serving on committees; working to solve /address quality concerns and attending grand rounds
