Hourly Rate: $16.60 an hour + $.15 shift differential

SCOPE OF POSITION:

We are hiring for seasonal rice general labor. You will assist where needed and be qualified on all positions on the rice line. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide breaks to operatorsDump rework and non-edible productTake out trashClean upDrive forkliftOther duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Ops ManagerMust be familiar with plant safety rules and guidelines and be sure they are followed by self and all employees in the area.Can work effectively with other departmentsMust be responsible for GMP practices in work area and keep area cleanMust be able to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb stairs and ladders.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Will be Sanitation Qualified.Maintain a forklift license.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Forklift Experience is a plus, but not required at time of hire.
