Overview: Michigan's Adventure has an opening for an Electrician in our Maintenance/Electrical Department in Muskegon, Michigan. This full time position will report to our Electrical Manager or VP of Maintenance and Construction. Responsibilities: + Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form. + Troubleshoot/maintain electrical systems such as lighting, facility, ride, high voltage, and control problems. + Maintain department inventory + Work with local inspectors on electrical projects. + Follow all safety rules. + Adhere to and enforce all Cedar Fair policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrate a commitment to guest service in all aspects of employment. + Other duties as may be assigned. Qualifications: + A minimum of 4-7 years electrical experience. + Must have or be willing to obtain state licensing. + Possess good work ethics and attendance record. + Work well independently, and with others. + Strong, instinctive work ethic + Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and background check, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy.
