You are responsible to develop the manufacturing recipes for the surface mount assembly processes and the backend soldering stations. You are also responsible to manage contract manufacturers’ development and mass production builds in term of the build readiness; guide the factory team to resolve sophisticated and complicated process or material related quality issue. DescriptionDescriptionWe work with Cupertino engineering team to validate new product design for manufacturability and provide recommendation for design change to drive for highest product’s yield and reliability at the most cost efficient manner. You will be able to partner with Cupertino engineering team to develop a new manufacturing processes and station with an innovative and creative solutions. We will provide our guidances to contract manufacturers’ engineers and partner with them to support all the build activities from the very beginning of product development (e.g. Proto, EVT, DVT and PVT) until the product end of life after mass production. You will plan, develop and implement new procedures to handle the PCBA(Printed Circuit Board Assembly) fabrication processes and quality control at contract manufacturers’ sites. We work with multi-functional teams and responsible to ensure the success of project transition from engineering builds at the top tier site to the volume production builds at various sites. Occasionally, we will be appointed as a project leader to work on various exciting and meaningful improvement projects aside from our daily responsibilities Minimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsMinimum Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent academic qualifications in engineering or science subjectsMinimum 3 years meaningful experiences in surface mount technology and other relevant industries (e.g. component packaging assembly, etc..)Key QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred Qualifications2~3years working experiences in machine hardware design company will be an advantage.Possess in depth SMT soldering process knowledge, good experiences in PCBA DFM review and are familiar with process failure analysis tools and methodologies with a high level creativity and curiosityGood understand of PCB fabrications and component assembly&test processes.Familiarity with factories’ quality control system (e.g. IQC, IPQC, OQC…etc) and industry standard or spec (e.g. IPC, JDEC..etc)Possess good communication skill and demonstrate strong leadership skill, good team-player with an ability to collaborate multiple functional groupsPositive demeanor or personality with a “can do” attitude and can perform well under stress and high pressure situationExperience of coding, smart manufacturing, digital transformation or AIML is an advantage.Willingness and ability to travel domestic and overseas upon request for business reasonsEducation & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsMore
