Risk Analyst - Sports Risk
Job description

The Manila Sports Risk Team is responsible for maximising profit while analysing client data and providing recommendations to ensure active management of all William Hill clients. They use various liability systems to gain insight into customer behaviour and highlight patterns. 

The core objectives are achieved through verifying a customer’s account integrity and executing full impact investigation for the business and relevant departments. The role also includes daily interaction with evoke retail operators and various internal stakeholders. 

This role demands a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment 

 

 

What you will be doing:  

 

Checking Bets  Proactive in looking for issues that require investigation  Ensures adherence to current MSF processes and guidelines  Country Management  Maximizing profit of assigned countries  Provides in-depth report on the problems encountered and what has been done to resolve it   Provides insight into customer behavior and highlight patterns  Operational Support  Handles first level escalations that entail immediate action  Monitors emails and ensures all cases are handled accordingly  Responds to management emails on a timely manner  Process Development  Has initiative in providing sound recommendations that would help improve to maximize the profit of assigned countries  Business Protection  Investigate issues where necessary to ensure the bets we pay out are all legitimate. 

 

 

What we are looking for 

 

Education - Bachelor’s / College Degree  Excellent English verbal and written communication skills  Understanding of the department’s processes and guidelines – professional knowledge  Grasp of the services being offered by evoke, processes involved as well as proficiency in tools navigation  Proven ability to maintain professional relationships internal/external  Proven ability to resolve complex problems with minor direction and assess issues objectively  Proven ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization  Proven ability to accept criticism in a professional manner  PC literate; Advanced levels in Excel and Word  Thrives in a fast paced environment  Detail oriented and analytical  Proactive  Flexible to work different shifts  Wide range of sports and betting knowledge.  Can demonstrate a proven track record of analysing customer behaviour  1+ years trading or risk experience  Internal Application Requirements:  Exhibits positive behaviour in line with evoke values
