Job Description:

Manage systematic model testing for VaR, Vol, TE, stress testing and support Back testingEnd to end servicing of clientsOversight of fund service providers with focus on operational riskReconcile risk results against accounting reports and independent data. Investigates further where necessaryTo provide timely and accurate market data for internal Market risk systems.Analyze time series data for information content that may be of use to Risk Managers, such as market liquidity, hedge efficiencySupport the Client relationship team in ensuring streamlined Investor communications Work in close contact with the Fund Service group to ensure that there is consistent, accurate streamlined processing of the end to end operating model for both underlying fund and investor reporting.The role involves understanding the various processes to generate the risk numbers retrieved by various risk feeds. This will involve evaluation and analysis of Market risk exposures by employing statistical and other approaches.Responsible for accurate and timely processing, operations and controlsBuild engagement with service providers and drive KPIsProvide support, resolve client issues, and demonstrate a firm understanding of the product to users (managers, traders etc.)Key focus on service delivery excellence and ability to work under pressure.

Skills/Experience Required

 

5 + years of Financial services experience in Investment Risk operations.Good understanding of all financial instruments including complex OTC products.Understands regulatory requirements like UCITS, AIFMD, ESMA etcAbility to work and communicate with people across organizational units.Demonstrate a high standard for customer service and proactively managing work queues.Handling and monitoring issue and query mails and escalating issues promptly as required to Senior Management.Strong risk mitigation, problem solving, and decision making skills.Effective in process improvement and expense reduction.Experience in managing teams in multiple locations regions.Ability to think critically and resolve complex problems.Strategic mindset – looking at bigger picture for the future of the organization.Change agent with abilities to navigate challenges effectively.CA, FRM or CFA certification preferred.
