About the role
The Risk and Compliance Co-op will work collaboratively with our construction risk management, safety, and operations teams to ensure that day-to-day risk and compliance requirements are in place. This position requires the development of high levels of interpersonal and communication skills, technical skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills.
What your day-to-day will look like
Risk and Compliance Co-ops have the opportunity to:
• Facilitate the certificate of insurance process by obtaining, verifying, and maintaining certificates of insurance to ensure subcontractor compliance and address any insurance-related questions or issues.
• Track compliance by job report, on-site contractors report, and other reports related to insurance needs.
• Continuously improve current processes.
• Learn necessary tools and procedures related to the company’s standard insurance requirements.
• Plan internal networking sessions throughout their co-op term.
What we’re looking for
Co-op candidates should be pursuing a degree in risk management, operations management, or other related industry degree. They should have an interest in and a basic understanding of insurance, construction, safety, and process development.
