About the role:
As a Risk and Insurance Analyst Senior, you will assist with the development and management of a comprehensive corporate risk management/insurance program with a concentration on risk identification, risk transfer and risk mitigation techniques. The initial focus of this position will be compliance and insurance risk management while working towards an overall corporate risk management strategy. This position will work closely with external brokers, the People Office, Corporate safety/Risk, legal, and finance functions to implement and maintain risk management policies and procedures to protect company's assets and minimize exposure. 

What you will be doing:
• Work with brokers to manage all insurance claims, including property, casualty, auto, workers’ compensation, D&O, and professional liability to ensure timely and fair resolution

• Support Risk Manager in the day-to-day interaction between all project participants, brokers, and adjusters for all insurance issues.

• Handle requests of certificate of insurance and work with broker to obtain them.

• Issue surety bonds, as needed.

• Support annual renewal of policies by providing underlying data needed by carriers to provide coverage.

• Work with the legal department to review/negotiate the terms and conditions of insurance and compliance related items in our Client Agreements.

• Review status of claims and coverage of all policies and create associated reporting for management.

• Manage day-to-day interaction between all project participants, brokers, and adjusters for all insurance issues.

• Support insurance audits.

• Oversee the Company Safety program.

• Support the activities of the Captive Insurance Company.

• Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements.


What you will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Business Administration, or related field.

• 3 years of related experience

• Solid knowledge of core risk management and insurance practices

• Strong relationship building skills

• Ability to travel up to 10%
