About the Team

You will be part of the Risk Management and Safety team responsible for risk identification, estimation, assessment and control to support Company’s objectives. The team collaborates with stakeholders throughout entire organization, supporting strategic goals and initiatives through risk mitigation and financial loss reduction. 

 

About the Role 

Risk and Safety Analyst supports Safety initiatives and programs in Supply Chain, maintains safety management information system and collaborates with general managers on corrective action plans.

 

Responsibilities 

Perform data entry, data analysis and create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management teams across the supply chain  Provide Safety Management Information System (SMIS) training and access Evaluate work-related accidents or injuries by coordinating comprehensive investigations to ensure accurate information is obtained and documented  Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timelines of collected data entered into SMIS system Obtain and upload surveillance video for each incident if available Coordinate and distributes the online operations managers’ quarterly training program using current vendors Prepare and present comprehensive reports summarizing safety data analysis findings Maintain and update safety database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility Collaborates with HR Business Partners, Loss Prevention, Operations, and other relevant departments Identify opportunities for process improvement in safety data collection, analysis, and reporting Maintain third party OSHA Logs, OSHA postings, and BLS Reporting Facilitate Regional weekly Accident Review Committee Calls Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned to support the Safety team Update claims administrators of new departments or department changes Maintain and update Workers Compensation postings and physician panels as needed

 

Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Management, Risk, Safety, Insurance, Business, or related discipline or equivalent experience At least 2 years’ experience in risk or compliance, and/or safety analysis within a distribution, manufacturing, or related field In-depth knowledge in the use of Excel and PowerPoint Ability to learn new tasks and concepts, gather information and data
