The Role

Risk & Technology Officer

This ideal candidate will be responsible to support the Compliance, Risk & Technology Department in the timely completion of the compliance plan and the day-to-day compliance operations for the Company.  The selected candidate will also support Transformation-related initiatives.

Responsibilities: 

Assist with the implementation and delivery of the Compliance Plan. Carry out screening and in-depth checks on potential customers by collecting and analyzing information relating to their identity, business activity and source of funds, etc.… Review existing customer profiles to identify possible suspicious activity, including unusual transactions and atypical sources of income. Provide support in preparing regular reports on compliance matters. Conduct transaction monitoring activities in line with annual and ad-hoc plans. Supporting the Excellence function in Excellence Reviews. Conduct Third Party Risk Assessment. Assist in the implementation and management of technology projects.

The Requirements

Educated to degree level or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance within the financial services sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and requirements.Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Ability to work, both individually and as a team, under pressure to tight timelines and without direct supervision. Fluent in English & French.
