Job Summary:
The Senior Associate for Independence Assessments is responsible for supporting the Independence Assessment (IA) process. This role involves assisting with current IA processes and participating in a comprehensive training program. The Senior Associate will work closely with the Independence team to ensure compliance and support assurance processes.
Major Responsibilities:
Independence Assessment Support:
Assist with current IA processes and ensure timely completion.
Participate in a 9-week training program run by the IA CoE global project team.
Assurance Processes:
Support partner rotation, CES, and AFS processes and queries.
Collaborate with team members to address compliance issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: A degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is usually required.
Relevant Work Experience: Typically, 5 years of experience in audit, compliance, risk management, or a related field.
Industry Experience: Experience in the specific industry relevant to the firm (e.g., Risk Management, Compliance, Audit services) can be beneficial.
Candidates should demonstrate basic proficiency in software and tools relevant to compliance processes. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential.
