What the day will look like As a Risk Consultant at Aon, you have an opportunity to work alongside our experienced and high calibre professionals to shape decisions for the better. Collaborating with colleagues, you will be responsible for delivering solutions which improve client resilience across their entire risk lifecycle. Our solutions include natural hazard modelling, risk financing analytics, emerging risk analytics, climate change analytics, and risk management advisory. You will leverage data and analytics to help clients meet their objectives by identifying and quantifying risks and developing effective risk management strategies. Skills and experience that will lead to success High levels of personal motivation, work ethic, and organisational skills. Ability to approach complex problems methodically and develop effective solutions. Ability to use analytical tools such as GIS software, RiskScape, Python, SQL, or Monte Carlo analysis. Ability to collaborate with colleagues to develop quantitative models, analyse data, and clearly communicate insights to stakeholders. Understanding of business operations, financial information, and how various risks can affect different aspects of a business. Adaptability, resilience, flexibility, and a desire to continually learn and develop new skills, behaviours, and knowledge. A tertiary degree in relevant field. 5+ years’ experience as a consultant or in a position of a similar capacity How we support our colleagues We encourage a diverse workforce.
