Risk Consultant (Catastrophe Modeling)

It will require applying Insurance & Re-insurance policy conditions, analysis of client exposure data against to different perils and quantifying natural catastrophe risk based on catastrophe modeling software. It will require maintaining clients Turn Around Time and quality all the time. Person should be able to understand & interpret the losses and prepare various reports as per the client requirement.
2+ Years of experience in catastrophe modeling industry.Hands on experience on Verisk’s Touchstone / TS Re softwareShould understand & interpret CAT Modeling losses.Understanding of policy structure (layers, limits, deductibles) and how it works in (re)insurance industryAttention to detail and superior communication skills.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of probability concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.Programming skills in SQL, R, Python are highly beneficial.Education: A Degree is required preferably in Insurance, mathematics, actuarial science, or business.Perform a wide of range of risk analyses in support of consulting projects and client support.Provide day to day client support helping clients use Verisk’s software platforms and understand Verisk’s catastrophe models and their output.Respond to client questions in a timely manner and help bring them to a speedy and accurate resolution by working collaboratively with our internal teams.Support the on-boarding efforts for new clients in close coordination with our internal teams as needed. This includes training, workflow design, the usage and interpretation of model results, and addressing challenges related to adopting or transitioning to Verisk. Serve as an ambassador of Verisk to our clients and prospects
