Risk Engineer
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Property Risk Solutions team at Marsh Advisory. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Marsh Advisory provides clients with strategic advice and innovative solutions across a wide range of insurable and non-insurable risks. Our Property Risk Solutions team is dedicated to helping clients eliminate or reduce the probability and severity of potential losses at their properties.
This is a position suitable for an experienced and qualified Risk Engineer, either at Consultant or Senior Consultant level.
We will count on you to:
Conduct on-site loss prevention evaluations to identify physical and human element exposures related to Fire, Boiler and Machinery, and Natural Hazards.
Prepare clear and concise Risk Assessment reports for insurers and clients.
Provide consultancy on asset protection, fire engineering, security, risk management standards, and training.
Collaborate with clients and Marsh colleagues to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Work with the Property Risk Solutions team to innovate and expand our consulting services and products.
What you need to have:
Graduate degree in Engineering disciplines.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in risk management or property engineering consulting.
Proven consulting experience in loss prevention, risk management, safety/health fields, and regulatory compliance (2-3 years preferred).
Advanced knowledge and skills in risk assessment, analysis, and solutions management.
Strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with proprietary software applications.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Valid Driver’s License.
