Risk Engineer

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Risk Engineer to join our team in Riyadh! In this role, you will have a deep understanding of risk management processes, the ability to analyze project risks, and experience using planning tools to mitigate and control those risks. You will work closely with the project management and engineering teams to ensure that potential risks are identified early, assessed, and managed effectively to ensure the timely and cost-efficient delivery of the project.

What You'll Be Doing:

Implementation of Projects Risk Management Strategy.

Part of a team managing a program of works, Liaison with other program team members to collate risk information

Reporting and presenting

Facilitate meetings with contractors to identify, assess, and evaluate risks arising from different areas of uncertainty during project lifecycle.

Review contractor’s risk registers and ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework.

Support in risk management processes including but not limited to risk identification, conducting risk analysis, process risk data using qualitative methods.

Conduct QSRA, QCRA using Monte Carlo Simulation Softwares PRA, ARM, Predict! or RiskHive.

Work closely with Risk Owners and support in monitoring and tracking the status and performance of risks and risk responses, and to identify gaps and escalate issues or deviations.

Attend regular meetings and provide updates to the risk register and issue log.

Provide onboarding sessions to new entities within the project organization.

Contribute to the preparation of presentations for different project stakeholders including charts, graphs and narrative information as per client requirements.

Maintain projects’ risk registers and issue logs for the projects within the district and ensure robust version document control and storage.

Contribute to the preparation of all monthly and weekly progress reports and PMIS dashboards.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience in the application of a risk management framework in a large organization, preferably PMC.

​What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

​Strong background in project management including time, cost and contracts management.

Demonstrated experience in Monte Carlo Simulation Softwares such as PRA, ARM, Predict! and RiskHive.

Excellent communication and presentation skills
