The Headlines:   

 

In the role of Risk & Insurance Specialist working in Milwaukee WI you will be part of the Americas Legal and Government Affairs team. You will be responsible for supporting the Risk & Insurance team by managing certificates of insurance, surety bonds, routine policy audits, internal/external customer requests, processing invoices, and providing analyst level support across the company’s insurance portfolio.  

 

This role reports to the Risk & Insurance Manager and works closely with teams within legal, environmental, health & safety (EHS), facilities, finance, and internal and external stakeholders. 

 

 

The Responsibilities: 

Directly manage certificates of insurance, automobile identification ID cards, letters of experience (Canada), surety bonds, and GRC impairment notifications.  Report on excise tax submissions. Responsible for financial activity to include the set-up of requisitions for insurance-related purchases and routing for approval, issuance of invoice payments, account reconciliation, document and maintain accurate records in files, and manage vendors in company-based application systems. Support renewal submissions by gathering data and communicating with stakeholders.  Track policies from submission through issuance. Promptly respond to routine requests for information and questions from stakeholders. Provide support to Risk & Insurance Manager on submission exposures, policy maintenance, and variance requests. Identify and assist with the implementation of workflow improvements and complete project duties, as assigned.

                 

The Other Qualifications: 

 

You have a bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience (1-3 years) in the field of insurance or risk management from a broker, insurer or company as an analyst or similar role. You have experience and a working knowledge with insurance coverages for large organizations. You are a self-motivated and proactive individual who is highly responsive to meeting the needs of our internal and external stakeholders. You have strong communication, organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail. You are proficient with MS Office products and technologically savvy. You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome.    You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments    You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
